This policy explains how Allie Hampton of Realtor® | BRIX Real Estate Group | Real Broker BC Ltd. (“I”, “me”, “my”) handles your personal information on imalliehampton.com. I work in Canada.
What I collect
I only collect what you choose to give me or what your browser shares by default:
- Contact forms: your name, email, phone number (optional) and message.
- Home valuation requests: the same details plus the property address you enter.
- Saved searches, favourites and accounts: your email address, the homes you save and the searches you set up. You sign in with an emailed link, not a password.
- Listing views: which listings and pages you look at on this site.
- Guide downloads: your name and email when a guide asks for them.
- Basic technical data: browser type, device and approximate location from your IP address.
Why I collect it
- To reply to your message and follow up about the home you asked about.
- To prepare a home valuation.
- To send the listing alerts you asked for, and keep your saved homes and searches.
- To keep this website working and see which pages are useful.
I do not sell your personal information.
Consent and unsubscribing
By submitting a form or signing in, you consent to me contacting you by email, phone or text about your request, as allowed under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and I honour it within 10 business days (usually right away). Reply STOP to any text to opt out. To stop listing alerts, use the link in any alert.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a first-party page-view tool, run by Closr for me, to see which pages lead to enquiries. Signed-in features use a cookie to keep you signed in. I do not use advertising cookies on this site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Who sees your information
This website is provided by Closr, a real estate software company. Closr is my service provider: it stores and processes your information on my behalf, only to run this site and my client records, and does not use it for its own marketing. I may share your details with my brokerage (Realtor® | BRIX Real Estate Group | Real Broker BC Ltd.), and with lawyers, lenders, inspectors or other professionals only when you ask me to, or when needed to complete a transaction. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Listing information comes from MLS® data feeds provided through your local real estate board. Searching or viewing listings does not share your details with the board.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while we are in touch and for as long as needed to meet my professional record-keeping duties. Real estate records are usually kept for several years. After that I delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. To make a request, email allie@alliehampton.com or call (236) 969-2366. I will reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with reputable cloud providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive details such as banking passwords through any form.
